Mag-Amplitude - Wizards Of Today

More private press excavations from the distinctly off-piste Zaius Tapes cabal. Mag-Amplitude was the work of blind Oklahoma guitarist/singer Matt Muncil, the kind of basement dwelling, hard rocking outsider we're used to those mavens at Ancient Grease sending back out into the world. Wizards, astronauts and emphatically expressed allegiance to the desirous whims of rock and roll are the typical constituents of Muncil's vernacular, fantastical arrested adolescent dreaming also reflected in the highly spirited debasement of foot-on-the-accelerator rocking of The Groundhogs, Michael Yonkers Band, The Godz et al. That Muncil probably really just wanted to be Ritchie Blackmore just adds to the loner charm. Miss the target and end up somewhere else much more interesting instead (and i don't just mean a £3000 Popsike listing from 2016, though that does very much exist). Edition of 292 for some reason.
