Hens teeth rare four track 12" by the New Zealand band formerly known aspunk first wavers The Scavengers, and also notable for featuring Brendan Perry of Dead Can Dance fame. What we have is here is classic new post punk angular business, made exceptional for the opening track, 'My Friends', a sardonic, scene-skewering new wave shoulda-been classic. I first heard this song about a year ago and had been searching for it for ages. And now here it is in the shop. An utter riot, like some kind of masterful hybrid of first album Cars and Girls At Our Best's 'Getting Nowhere Fast'. Yes yes, it's that good. Big collectors item. Link in bio.
