Much like with the release of the JD Twitch mixtape in 2021, we're choosing to mark this year's Record Store Day with the release of O Yuki Conjugate's contribution to our Inner World Series. Pressed in an edition of 100 and replete with risograph printed sleeves, the 60 minute mix traces a ghostly thread through the outer-reaches of minimal electronic musics, drawing upon ambient & fourth world aesthetics, post/ethno-industrial and unclassifiable post-kraut experimentations. Though containing only a fraction of their own music, the artfully arranged collage is unmistakably OYC in both tone and texture, deeply expressive of the unique soundworld the duo have constructed over the past 40 years. The cassettes are available for purchase instore from Saturday 23rd April, with any remaining copies posted to the World of Echo website from the following Sunday. No digital.
