Concluding our Kashual Plastik round up this week is the latest four song salvo from Japan-residing Kiwis, Greymouth. Their heritage seeps through each second, the spirit of the NZ lathe cut underground written throughout in murky atonal spools. Drone and melodic lilt in perfect disunity, recorded for less than zero but rich in greyscale intrigue. Something like a mix between Clayton Noone's Armpit (the band and the bodily region) caught in Stefan Christensen guitar squall abstraction. Or, if it weren't on KP, a perfect addition to the I Dischi Del Barone 7" series (more from that please, 40+ releases just aint enough). Quite the week for Kashual Plastik, doing god's/dog's work out here. Download code and what not included.
