‘Tributary' is an album inspired by a sense of Space, Place and Community, particularly the region of North Northumberland where Mark resided in the same dwelling for 40 years. Where he watched a social scene of like minded people gravitate to. And then over time sadly diminish and vacate.
It is a document dedicated to the land and the folk of that scene in the Breamish Valley and its surroundings, it is indeed a tribute to what once was a truly beautiful and thriving tribe that came to make up a community that brought vitality and energy into all of their lives.
