Reissue lp comprising the s/t 12" debut of Max Block (originally released by Flying Nun in '86) + unreleased material from 87-88. The core of Max Block were Brian & MaryRose Crook, who now propel The Renderers. Their sonic attack here was more of a seared mix of Pere Ubu & Mars, Southern Hemisphere style. Pretty great stuff.
