Issue two of the Aotearoa NZ zine from Simon Baker, formerly the creator of the 90s micro-publication/label Insample. Since we know that part of the world to be both a source of only good and still also very far away and somehow a little hidden because of it, these words are much needed, and clearly, crucially, come from a place of love. It's all very much WOE-friendly material - Greymouth and Flaming Stars features, an insightfully candid interview with the co-creators of the Rose Hobart imprint. All golden, but what i'm here for is the reviews, a state of play, non-time-sensitive look at the ditches, undergrowth and desire lines of our bloody underground. More light shone in corners we barely knew existed, of which there can never be enough.
