Ten years of Warthog and EP number five (i think?). Endlessly unforgiving music for a decade now. Unfaultable. Unflappable. Anvil right on the fucking bonce. And always at their own pace, too - lesser groups mighta pumped out triple the amount in half the time. But why dilute the formula? It's impossible to not admire the approach. Three songs here, probably the best recorded tracks i've heard of theirs, and that twin guitar assault provides more riffs per song quota than others might manage in a lifetime. And Christopher Hansell's vocal remains as a tar-black as ever. We'd love an album of course, but leave 'em wanting more seems to be the Warthog way and there's enough tension and ferocity captured in that final beast, Digital Tumor, to tide over another decade. When society falls, Warthog prevails. True definition of all killer.
