Manchester's always-working Tom Boogizm strikes out under his own name once again for this latest five-track 12" for the ever-consistent DDS label. This isn't entirely removed from the post-punk indebted, bruised heart lamentations of the Rat Heart output, though is mostly more geared towards the floor, the clearly well-informed producer taking the opportunity to flex a few different influences, be that the chopped n screwed rap murk of 'Young Bleed', the warped slo-mo Night Slugs bounce of '2 MCR' and 'Lawyer UP' or the grime-tooled synthstabs of 'G A F 425'. Like near-all of Boogizm's work, this'll sound solid in or out of the house, detailed orientated for the deep listen, but physical enough to move the feet. Ever dependable.
