OG press of the Time Machines debut, a Coil pseudonym dedicated to Conrad-ian style drone and minimal electronics. Concurrent with Moon-phase era Coil, these four songs, spread across two discs, are the introverted sister of the Musick to Play in the Dark duology, using repetition, subtle textural shifts and an obviously drug-influenced (if you needed convincing, look at those song titles) introspection to explore similar crepuscular themes. It's essentially Coil at their most transcendent, looking inwards to move further outwards. A remarkable addition to what is already a peerless catalogue, should be right near the top of any Coil list. Note this is the black vinyl edition, limited to 1000 copies.
