Spirit Counsel by Thruston Moore is a 3 CD box set containing instrumental pieces that he’s recorded over the last year or so. The pieces are reflective and meditative. Moore takes inspiration from Alice Coltrane, Glenn Branca and Sun Ra. Among the musicians appearing on the recordings are Deb Googe (My Bloody Valentine) and David Toop.
