Californian rock band Thin White Rope took their name from William Burroughs description of semen in his novel, Naked Lunch. Moonhead was their second album and was originally released in 1987. Their mix of rock, blues, country, punk, and psychedelia had critics squeezing them into boxes labelled 'Paisley Underground' and 'Desert Rock'. Whatever you want to call them, they’re good and you should check them out.
