Seance Centre bring to vinyl for the first time six slices of mid-80s synthpop wonderment from Kansas. Four of the songs are taken from the band's debut album that was originally only on cassette and have added in two previously unheard cuts (though prior to this it was all unheard of for me). Flavoured with a little YMO fruitiness and a little more Detroit steel, and what you're left with is a kind of bucolic, accidental techno. The best kind of techno. It's not in Kansas anymore (it's in our racks), and be thankful for that.
