The fabulous Berlin-based label Blackest Ever Black are releasing a four-song 12″ EP by Rat Columns, the ‘Fooling Around’ EP. It contains the extended, unedited version of the DTW/Mikey Young jam ‘Fooling Around’ from the ‘Leaf’ LP, as well as another track from the ‘Leaf’ sessions, ‘Strays’. ‘Fooling Around’ features the stellar lineup of RC SF mainstay lads Jonathan Young on bass and Matthew Bleyle on drums, with special guests M.Young on synth and Rusty Miller on backing vocals.
There are also two songs, ‘Waiting In The New World’ and ‘Should I Leave You Alone?’ that DTW recorded on a borrowed four-track (thanks Marijn!) in friend’s apartments in Berlin and a friend’s Danish summer house after the 2013 Rat Columns & Rank/Xerox European tour.
