Latest LP from the cultish darkwave duo, and with it another confirmation that they're just about the best doing this kind of thing in what is a very crowded field. Though in operation since the early 90s having emerged from the undying European post-industrial landscape, they're actually not made that many records, Electrical only their fourth long-player in over three decades. In a scene that's otherwise generally known for being prolific, November Növelet are perhaps better defined by their precision. As such, Electrical is very much unmistakably them, a monochrome-rendered arrangement of icy synth majesty, gloomy minimal wave dread and detached vocals that takes the business of The Night very seriously. Very seriously indeed. No smiles or laughs around here, just the danse macabre and a masterful grasp of the austere aesthetics. Every good sex dungeon needs its soundtrack, and as those things go, this is as about as classy as it comes (pun maybe intended). Super limited as ever, and their stuff usually sells out immediately and then re-appears at offensively inflated prices soon after. So if you want it, get it now.
