Triple Vinyl
The latest long-player from one of Detroit's finest finally turns up on vinyl nearly an entire year after it's digital release. A three disc collection no less, as you'd expect from Dixon, who's made a career as a stand out prolific voice in a sea of prolific producers. By this stage you're either familiar (and enamoured) with his iconic signature lover man house soul or this one probably isn't for you, but let it be known the quality has not diminished over time. The man's an institution. Taken Away stacks them high again. Also gotta say, in a year (and counting) without clubs and away from the dancefloor, it's increasingly inspiring to hear music as pure, hopeful and straight up eternal as this still rolling from the Detroit hit factory. Should add that this version also adds in an additional disc, covering the tracks from Demos, Cassettes, ADATs & Floppies Pt.1. More arms for the octopus.
