Original Jazz Classics marks John Coltrane’s centennial with this edition of John Coltrane with the Red Garland Trio, first released on Prestige in 1958 and later reissued in 1961 as Traneing In.
The session pairs Coltrane with the quartet of Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Art Taylor, capturing a lean, elegant set from a vital moment in his catalog.
This new pressing comes on 180-gram vinyl at RTI, with all-analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio, housed in a Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.
