Hiele ‎– Sings

And for our second dose of Ultra Eczema this week... the latest from Stockholm's Roman Hiele, which the label suggests is designed to be played very loud late at night, with the windows open. You could do that, though i take no responsibility for the consequences. The record is called Sings but of course there's no singing to be heard here, instead a particularly provocative and abstract form of electronics that's both shapeless and alien. The kind of challenging music making that seems to surface on UE more often than not. Not sure exactly what you'd call this, perhaps post-IDM, simply because it's one part artschool, the other part iconoclastically razing it to the ground. One for the serious heads. Edition of 300 once again, and from what i can tell, also sold out at source. Cool artwork, also.
