G.S. Schray ‎– First Appearance

Delighted to announce that we're finally carrying a couple of the Last Resort titles we've privately enjoyed the past 18 months or so. If you don't already know/own these, then you're missing out on some serious ambient fare. Aqueduct Ensemble deal in the kind of subtle and refined modern composition that makes amateurs of most of their peers. Dream-like waltzes through Hassell's utopic fourth world, with a jazz-like appreciation for the conceptual arc, recalling Sander's Harvest Time in it's hazy wonder. G.S. Schray's near Vini Reilly guitar shapes and dreamy synth excursions are a welcome addition to the weird and eerie canon, hypnagogic in the way that the music seems to sit between worlds - at once ambient and ecstatic. Imagine this aboard a yacht sailing through the stargate. Thought these had long sold out, so glad to be able to source a few to show off.
