In truth, that's probably wrong on both counts, though who I am to question the desires of the label and artist. These seven tracks certainly qualify as album length, and sit together coherently as a whole, broadly within the category of ambient-adjacent, modern composition. Nothing wrong with any of that in my book, particularly given that Zeisig is especially adept at creating emotionally rich vistas that feel like a bit of a stand out in that otherwise pretty packed field. Harp and saxophone contributions are provided by Róisín and Cathal Berkeley, and add a sonorous quality to the lapping waves and electronic plains that Zeisig slowly unfolds around them. Beautiful stuff and strikingly earnest, too - this is music unafraid to embrace love, sincerity, hope, which is perhaps why its creator is also so keen to avoid aligning it with any specific generic pigeonhole or format conventions. Nonetheless, if you're looking for comparative understanding, you might find some kinship with those artists that form part of the Last Resort label - G.S. Schray, Lemon Quartet, K. Freund - Gigi Masin, or maybe even Pavel Milyakov's various collaborative projects. Emotive sounds aimed towards the chest and with great grace and patience - though you might argue this is just music, those are valid approaches to just about anything in life.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFFO: G.S.
