Hot-wired debut outing for no-wavers Eraser that plays perfectly to Siltbreeze's time-worn art damaged impulses. Eight razor sharp tracks done in under 20 minutes that hit the sweet spot of female-led art-punk insouciance in seemingly effortless style, spiky, spirited and switched-on in ways we might connect with anyone from Malaria and Liliput to Erase Errata and The Roger Sisters. It's a long-standing tradition these four are channeling and they do it with the kind of minimalist, bratty zeal you'd be forgiven for thinking easy if only it weren't for the amount of bands that still get it wrong (and I don't mean so wrong it's right). Don't count Eraser amongst them. Right out the gate with the nail on the head and gone before you know you've been hit. Perfect execution.
