Drifting - Dream Autopsy

Transatlantic dreamworld noise communion feat. the vocal talents of Amateur Hour's Julia Bjernelind and the shredded tape manipulations of Form Hunter's Weston Czerkies and Mr Gothenburg himself, Dan Johnannson. With Johannson even part way behind the controls, you know which way this one is gonna spin, though I will say that Bjernelind's sing-song Kranky-meets-no wave-isms bring a little levity to proceedings, a song bird taking flight through the splice 'n' dice white noise fog. Certainly a lot more Amateur Hour influence in this one than i was expecting, only ever a good thing of course. And tbh, i'm gonna struggle to find a better description than 'dream autopsy', such is the sense of time-dilated violence/trauma being pushed here. Another one of those beating-taken-in-a-dream records, which is preferable to beating you're likely to take on Discogs down the line if you miss this one now. Edition of 300 and basically already gone.
