In our world, as with many of yours I'd suspect, 2020 wasn't much of a year for anything other than music. Against the odds and the outright odd, that side of things worked out remarkably well. Since it's now December we're duty bound to provide what I'll admit is a typically ramshackle End of Year List, which you'll perhaps find useful in helping recall things forgotten, missed or alien. Or you can simply use it as an exercise in collective appreciation. Ipso facto vis a vis (you're giving love instinctively!), it's here for you to use as you choose. Music's no competition and there's no first place: this is just a selection of records we enjoyed these past twelve months, various ladders, lifeboats and light in a mucky year. 2020 in hindsight...
You're reading this online, but WOE exists in the physical world, so we've compiled our list into booklet form, which you can either pick up in-store or we'll include in online orders. Scroll the images below for a digital taster.
And finally, a disclaimer: a number of the records we really liked are long out of print and will likely stay that way, so may or may not have made the cut as a result. We've also included anything we have had a hand bringing into the world in the 'honourable mentions' section. Now, enjoy, share etc. And thank you for reading.
