Made exclusively for The Black Lights (The White Hotel’s festival in Blackpool, running June 26-28 in 2026), purge.xxx has produced this two-disc sequel to its original release (purrrrrj013) comprising the short film (DVD) documentary of STANLEY SCHTINTER’s word-for-word recreation of Princess Diana’s funeral with a Mexican Mariachi band at Salford’s The White Hotel, along with the full, unedited audio recording (CD) from the ceremony. An internationally reviled (heroic) event, its ceremony cast includes AUSTIN COLLINGS, SUSU LAROCHE, JONATHAN MEADES and CHRIS PETIT.
numbered + handmade in an edition of 100 copies on gatefold three-panel kraft board with litho print; eight-page booklet containing event reviews by the London Review of Books and the Daily Star; 13 lucky copies contain sticker with funereal flag designed by SCHTINTER
