Coin de l'Oeil is the debut LP from Paris-based Healees, following their 2022 self-titled maxi-EP. Stories of isolation, illness, illicit crushes, and heavy drugs, set to dreamy, driving shoegazey power-pop, the album represents two years of recordings refined via the band's live shows. Hailing from the US, Sweden, Belgium and France, the quartet has been described as '21st-century shoegazers amazingly as great as 1988-1995's originals" (the Big Takeover) and "the best shoegaze band in France" (Paris Popfest).
