Formed by Manami, Otera and Takahashi in Sapporo in autumn 1994, released first cassette tape album 'piccolo' in 1995, became a duo in 1997. Their third album 'romantico' was released on March and received worldwide acclaim.
The minimal floating sound common to Stereolab, melancholic organic electronic sounds like Donna Regina and pop melodies reminiscent of early Salon Music are unique in their sense. Their third album, following their first cassette tape album 'piccolo' and mini album '800 cherries'.
The album features an exquisite mix of acoustic instruments and their unique warm electronic instruments, resulting in a sound with a European flavour, just as the title suggests.
