New six-track 12” EP from Special Occasion (Guy Gormley and David Gray), their first release since 2017’s The Word tape (later reissued by Low Company). Lush, romantic, immaculately dubbed house and synth-pop moods, all-instrumental, drawing on sepia memories of Ibizan trips past. Strong influence from the production values of Enigma’s Michael Cretu, who had a studio there in the 1990s. Mastered by Rupert Clervaux, edition of 300.
