CD released via Antony Milton's Another Sunday label
Perpets is the minimalist duo of Wairarapa based sound artists Antony Milton and Zac Winterwood. Responding to the 'Sunday' component of the brief Milton composed a piece for 'bell like' guitar and crystal bowl and glass drone. The trick was finding a naturally resonant space in which to record and various spaces were auditioned before the stairwell of the Harry Watson Gallery was selected. Being mid-winter it was a frigidly cold recording session but things ran surprisingly smoothly for a recording session and the resulting work is presented with barely any edits.
