Second Michel Henritzi record we've had barge in the door in as many months, this latest for Bruit Direct following the fierce collaboration with Michael Morley issued by L'eau Des Fleurs. Flowers of Romance is an equally combative presentation, laying further evidence to Henritzi's noise rock credentials, a 40-min six-string flex with an industrial-blues edge, positioned somewhere on the shared axis (if such a thing exists) of Michael Gira, Keiji Haino, 90s period Loren Connors and hell, even a little Thurston in Metal Machine mode. Proper turn on, tune in and blast your fucking soul guitar nirvana, essentially, and precisely the kind for which there eternally exists infinite space. Disciples, into the void i once again invite you to venture.
