Best of Year 2019
HONK! 2019 must be the year of the goose! First Untitled Goose Game, then this front cover... 'cept, Bortom E4’s Horrisont was actually first released in 2005 as a CD-r on Legowelt's now-defunct Strange Life label, and is only now getting its first vinyl pressing via the Low Company mob. Cover art aside, Karl Lindh's particular brand of moody ambience feels finely attuned to 2019. Minimal, sinister, distinctly European electronic meanderings that conjure visions of dust-coated abandoned cafes in backwater Swedish towns, all odd shaped drones and portentous double bass. The sound of being deep in the mire, proper black coffee music for the serious headed. A nice deep-seated paranoia pleasure. The goose is a ghost! And you wont find this one online, so fortunately it comes with a download code.
