Installment number three in the Peace Pipe tape series, landing as regularly as they are high quality. Focus this time out turns to ambient DnB/jungle-adjacent magic, something for which i have almost zero nostalgia, so i'll just take it as the 80+ minute masterclass immersion/education that's been the trademark of these cassettes since the get go. Peace Pipe might be exploring different territory here, but if you were a fan of the previous two outings you're gonna wanna check in here, too, i feel. There's a kind of alterna-British music history being mapped out in these mixes, topographic time capsules exploring different aspects of the late 80s/early 90s dance cultures that shaped these sorry Isles, something i'd suggest works well as either introduction or reacquaintance for those diving back into their past. Saying that, those of a certain disposition might wanna mind for the flashbacks...
