Why I Was A Burglar has Greene hook up with C/Site boss man Stefan Christensen, and journeys a little more towards the heavens and that rock n roll nirvana thing the label does so well. Since these are home recordings, there's a real instinctive quality to the playing, the pair clearly riffing off one another as they push the songs into oddshapes and textures. Greene's a songwriter at heart, so you get killer folk hymnals like 'When You Give Up' wrapped inside some serious guitar work outs, part Crazy Horse, part mid 90s US underground abstraction. And that title track, at at knee-shaking 14mins+, is worth the entry fee alone. Walls will fall. Limited to 75 copies.
