And what a return it is from Andy Rantzen and Justin Brandis, a truly modern collection of post-industrial minimalist electronics that finds intersecting ground between O Yuki Conjugate greyscale 'dirty ambience', fourth world disorientation and post-Cologne dub minimalism. Like with the return of OYC, there's the sense of a masterful but still overlooked duo returning to finally earn their flowers, no interest in retreading the past, pushing out into new spaces while still retaining a distinct sense of self. Given OYC are more popular then ever, and producers like Civilistjavel and the respective universes of West Mineral and 5GATETEMPLE have earned great plaudits for mining similar territory, the title the duo have chosen for this new collection feels remarkably prescient.
